Make it count: Choose every blood product for transfusion wisely
Join the RACP Lead Fellow, and Vice President of the ANZSBT, Dr Anastazia Keegan in a discussion about the new top-five recommendations on low-value care in the area of blood transfusion. Blood transfusions can be lifesaving, however, we are still seeing a reliance on blood and blood products in circumstances where it has been proven to be unnecessary.
In this webinar, we explore why blood is a scarce and precious resource and why physicians need to choose every blood product for transfusion wisely.

Population Health Congress 2022

The Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine (AFPHM) will co-host the Population Health Congress 2022 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. On the afternoon of Tuesday, 20 September 2022 from 3pm to 7pm, AFPHM will host the William Redfern Oration and Gerry Murphy Prize, followed by the presentation of the AFPHM President’s Awards and a cocktail function to conclude the evening.
